Easy Hebrew Texts
The Easy Hebrew Texts, composed of simplified news items, allow the students to practice their knowledge and learn new vocabulary in various areas - politics, economy, technology, science, health, entertainment, and more. This collection is an important component of the MILINGUA Hebrew learning resources and a valuable addition to the courses. The texts are broken into short sentences. As in other Milingua services, each sentence comes with accompanying audio. Each item is preceded by a brief summary of the item in English, which clarifies its content. The summary might slightly deviate from the English style and syntax to allow the readers to better identify the correspondence between the English and Hebrew texts, and help them better understand the way ideas are expressed in modern Hebrew. In addition, a translation of individual words is displayed in a "translation box". In some cases, the word translation is accompanied by additional grammatical explanations. |
